Ten years of hourly weather, graded for climbable days and friction quality. Two different questions decide a trip: how much you can climb, and how good it feels when you do. July and August win on volume, with about four climbable days in five. The very best friction clusters in spring: April and May pair dry stretches with cool air, and roughly one day in six grades prime, the top 5% of the decade. September is the beloved classic, every other day climbable with crisp mornings returning late in the month. From November to February the granite is mostly wet, with rare gift days.
